Railtours - Montana by Steam II excursion featuring ex-Southern
Pacific Daylight Locomotive #4449.
This special excursion departed Sandpoint,
Idaho on Sunday, October 10 and ran 219 miles over Montana Rail
Link's 4th Subdivision, former Northern Pacific Mainline, to
Missoula, Montana.

to Bozeman, Montana.

Tuesday, October 12 saw the train run 140
miles to Billings, Montana where the train stayed on public display
for two days.

October 15 - 17 the train returned to Sandpoint,
Idaho. This time the train took MRL's 10th Subdivision between
DeSmet and Paradise on the Missoula - Sandpoint leg.
